Getting Started

I'm a clinical research professional. Why should I register with DrugDev.org?
DrugDev.org is the largest international network of clinical research professionals, connecting over 67,325 investigators, research staff, CRAs and project managers with new research and career opportunities. DrugDev.org is used by pharmaceutical companies and CROs to reach out to sites for feasibility studies and clinical trials. It is used by project managers and research teams to communicate with each other about studies they are working on together in a secure environment. If you're not listed... chances are, you're missing out!

Can I use the DrugDev.org website without being registered?
DrugDev.org is a closed community dedicated to the clinical research profession. As a result, you need to be a verified clinical research professional in order to use DrugDev.org.

Where is my verification email? How long should it take to arrive?
Your verification email should arrive within 5 minutes of your initial registration. If it has not arrived, please check your spam / bulk mail folders and ensure you mark it ... NOT JUNK! If your verification is still not there after a few minutes, try registering again ... as long as you haven't verified your registration your re-registration should go through, and should send another verification email as well.

Listings and Endorsements

What kind of experience should I list on my profile?
Your experience is one of the many parameters we use to help match sponsors to the right sites. Wherever possible please focus on the therapeutic areas you are currently working in to avoid receiving opportunities that are not relevant to your current practice / clinical interests.

What is an endorsement? What does it mean?
In order to help sponsors connect with the right investigators, we encourage users in our network of investigators and CRAs to endorse other investigators that they have worked with. Endorsements represent a validation of your clinical research experience, and - wherever possible - include feedback on recruitment track record, quality and level of resources available for research activities. In general, investigators with more endorsements get first access to the best opportunities, so having more endorsements is a good thing.

Can I find out what other people have said about me?
Endorsements operate just like personal references - they are provided to DrugDev.org as confidential communications to ensure honesty and accuracy in the feedback process. Endorsements are de-identified and aggregated, so the sources of each endorsement are not available to individual users or sponsors.

Where do you get your information from?
DrugDev.org captures information on the best investigators from many different sources - from existing users, from other investigators, from institutions, regulators and CRAs. We use this information to build up the best possible network of investigators and research professionals worldwide. That said, if you don't want your information to be collected or maintained by us you can always request to have your profile cancelled/removed. NOTE: we never put information into the public domain that is not already in the public domain.
